Ratargul:

Rataragul is the only swamp forest in Bangladesh. It is located in Goainghat upazila, about 26 km from Sylhet city. The nightspot is about 32,325 acres wide. Rataragul is known as the Sundarbans of Sylhet. The forest is kept under water for four to five months a year. Many tourists also call these nights the Amazon of Bangladesh. Usually, July to October is the perfect time to travel overnight.

Easy way to come:

If you want to come from Bangladesh or any part of the world, then you have to come to Sylhet first. From Sylhet, CNG or auto rickshake can be rented for 1200-1500 rupees. From there, the boat has to be fixed for tourists to visit at night. The boat rent will be 800-1000 taka.

Eat:

There is no food for dinner. However, there are small shops for dry food.

Remain:

Must stay in Sylhet city.

Caution

 Be careful that snakes take shelter in different trees as the forest sinks. Many times, jokes are seen. So it is important to be careful.

Suggestion:

Must come in groups. This will reduce costs and make travel more enjoyable.
